The Botox Diaries

Each of these books was excellent!  They were all enjoyable and I recommend them all.

"Something Blue" is set primarily in London, which I adore and is a great story about a woman who grows up, gets wise and comes into her own.  However, you really should read "Something Borrowed", also by Emily Giffin, first.

"The Host" is a sci-fi love story, and it's classic Stephenie Meyer in that her attention to detail and her streamlined writing make it a very easy read.  The plot however is completely different from her Twilight series, but done just as well.  It's well outlined and researched to add credibility to an otherwise hard to imagine theme.  Also, the supporting cast of characters brought it all together and rounded out the entire package.  A must read if you're a fan of sci-fi, romance, and Stephenie Meyer.

"The Botox Diaries" is a fabulously fun read that is one part romance, one part friendship, and two part hilarious laughter!  I found myself laughing out loud on almost every page.  Essentially it's a story about two forty-something best friends who have children, jobs, and dilemmas in love.  A great summer read for the pool, the beach, or the air conditioned comfort of Starbucks.

Happy reading!
